The only female on the American school football team
Spillman plays center, leading the school’s all-boys team.
Neveah Spillman (13 years old) in Kansas City, Missouri, USA has been playing football since she was 4 years old. All her hard work paid off when she officially joined the Maple Park Middle School football team and held an important position.

As the only girl on the team, Spillman was “nervous from the start.” However, her teammates praised her for showing off her skills as a center.
“He has a very strong arm. It’s not about whether the center is a girl or a boy, it’s about what you do on the field,” said Daivion Allen, a member of the football team.
Spillman seems comfortable being a captain on the field. “You’re in charge because you create the offense. You tell people where to be, what they need to do to get better results,” she said.
