– Reigning 2024 Paris Olympic champion Lydia Ko (New Zealand) won the prestigious women’s golf championship held in Singapore.
The tournament ended on March 3 at Sentosa Island (Singapore). At the end of the final day, Lydia won the championship with a total score of -13 strokes.

Second place went to Ayaka Furue (Japan), with a total score of -9 strokes. This was the same result as Jeeno Thitikul (Thailand).
Meanwhile, the T4 position (tied for 4th place) belonged to golfers Jon Hee Im (Korea) and Gaby Lopez (Mexico), each with a total score of -7 strokes.
For Lydia Ko, the HSBC World’s Women’s Championship in Singapore once again proved her excellent form.
After winning the title, the New Zealand female golfer said: “I started this year’s tournament with the necessary stability. I didn’t hit the tee shots too far, as long as I kept the ball’s trajectory stable.”
“After keeping the ball’s trajectory stable as I wanted, I tried to get birdies (shot one stroke less than the standard number of strokes) on each hole, trying to get points every day of the competition,” Lydia Ko added.
