League of Legends released champion Mel, why is it controversial?

League of Legends has introduced champion Mel and is currently facing a lot of mixed opinions.

League of Legends has just released champion Mel – the son of champion Ambessa who previously appeared in Summoner’s Rift. This champion is based on the popular Netflix series Arcane, which is loved by gamers. However, champion Mel himself has brought a lot of controversy to Riot.

Specifically, Mel possesses the W skill – Soul Mirror, which can reflect any skill launched by the opponent. In the teasing clip, it can be seen that the W skill is invincible, even special skills like Urgot’s R skill or Death Whirlwind (Draven) can be reflected.

This has inadvertently caused controversy among the League of Legends gaming community. This powerful W move also has a very short cooldown, easily overwhelming opponents. Many opinions say that Mel will likely be banned in matches.
