Ben Johns was born into a family of 7 children, including his older brother Collin Johns, a professional handball player.
From a young age, Ben Johns was exposed to tennis and table tennis, his talent for these two sports was revealed early. His childhood was spent hanging around the practice courts and helping his brother Collin Johns practice for professional tennis tournaments.
Starting to play Pickleball in 2016, Ben Johns first played Pickleball while on vacation in Florida. A few months later, 17-year-old Ben Johns emerged as a talent when he participated in the US Open Pickleball Championship and took fifth place in the Men’s Singles. To date, Ben Johns is ranked No. 1 in the world in all three events: Mixed Doubles, Men’s Singles, and Men’s Doubles (PPA).
