Facing an evenly matched opponent, the Russian Slapping King suffered a terrible injury.
Russia is the birthplace of many unique sports, slapping is one of the most special. In this sport, Vasily Kamotsky, a Russian athlete weighing over 150 kg, is the top expert. In the heavyweight or extra-heavyweight category, no matter how strong or heavy the opponent is, Khamotiskiy will lose after receiving a series of slaps.

The athlete, born in Ilansky, Siberia, Russia, became a star and brought slapping to many social media users since winning the Russian slapping championship in 2019. No one could defeat Kamotsky until early 2020. Notably, Khamotiskiy “Dumpling” was defeated by a farmer, in a small local tournament in Russia.
That defeat caused Kamotsky’s reputation to decline quite a bit. In 2020, people no longer saw Kamotsky participating in slapping competitions, instead this man turned to martial arts. On March 27, at the 2021 World Slapping Championship held in Poland, Kamotsky made a quite impressive comeback.
Defeating a series of opponents to reach the final, Kamotsky faced an equally strong expert, David Zalevsky, who also weighed more than 150 kg. The confrontation was extremely tense when neither side gave up after 3 rounds. In the 4th slap, Zalevsky launched a “fatal” slap that caused the Russian Slapping King to stagger and fall, thereby Zalevsky became the 2021 world champion.
After the match, the two athletes did not mention much about the match but went on social media to show off images of their faces deformed by the slaps. It was the first time people saw Kamotsky’s face swollen so much after a competition, although he was the world champion, but Zalevsky suffered a more serious injury, his face was deformed and swollen like a bowl.
