Musetti had a tough time against Fils in the third round of Indian Wells. The Italian only started smoothly in the first set. In the second set, things got much worse for Musetti.

Musetti and Fils dragged each other to a tie-break in the second set. In this series, Musetti won 7-4. In the decisive third set, Fils had a better spirit, from there won 6-3 and eliminated Musetti from Indian Wells.

Rune made a breathtaking comeback

It seemed like Rune would have an easy match against Humbert, but it wasn’t. The Danish player lost the first set 5-7.

In the second set, Rune started to wake up. He won 6-4 to force the match to a third set. Continuing the momentum, Rune won 7-5 in the third set, thereby ending the breathtaking comeback against Humbert.

Tsitsipas shows off his formidable strength

Stefanos Tsitsipas continued his devastating form as the Greek player won 2-0 against Matteo Berrettini in the third round of Indian Wells. The scores of the sets were 6-3, 6-3. The eighth seed of the tournament did not waste too much time to finish the match thanks to effective long-range shots and the ability to serve powerfully in the service games.

Medvedev won easily thanks to opponent retiring early

The match between Daniil Medvedev and Alex Michelsen at Indian Wells ended quickly when Michelsen unexpectedly retired after only 12 minutes of play. The American player decided to withdraw from the match after being 0-2 down in the first set. The cause is said to be health problems and possibly because Michelsen suffered from food poisoning.

Earlier, the match was also temporarily stopped when Medvedev had an accident with a nosebleed and needed medical attention. With this easy victory, Medvedev continued his journey at Indian Wells without spending too much energy.

In some other matches, Tommy Paul defeated Cameron Norrie 6-3, 7-5. Meanwhile, Marcos Giron struggled to overcome Popyrin 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 to win a ticket to the next round.
