About Asia Masters 2025
Asia Masters 2025, formerly known as Asia Star Challengers Invitational (ASCI), is the first youth-level League of Legends (LoL) tournament in Asia organized by Riot Games. The tournament aims to create a professional competitive environment for youth teams or Academy teams of organizations in the region, helping them have the opportunity to compete and accumulate international competition experience.
Asia Masters 2025 applies the Swiss format with a total of 7 rounds. Teams will compete in BO1 matches, with the teams that win 4 matches entering the Playoff stage, while the teams that lose 4 matches will be eliminated. Notably, the matches that decide the team that advances and the team that is eliminated will apply the ‘Fearless Draft’ rule and take place in BO3 format.
The Swiss Round 1 of the tournament takes place from March 5 to March 22. The teams are divided into 4 seed groups, in which group 1 plays group 4 and group 2 plays group 3 in round 1. Notably, two teams from the same region (Korea, China, APAC) cannot meet each other in this round.
Asia Masters 2025 is not only a playground for young talents to demonstrate their abilities but also an important stepping stone to help them go further in their professional career. The tournament creates conditions for young teams to accumulate experience, learn and prepare for bigger tournaments in the future.
With the participation of top young teams from many regions, Asia Masters 2025 promises to bring dramatic and attractive matches, contributing to the development of the LoL community
