Perhaps T1’s data collection needs to end.
“Dismal” stats of T1 stars at LCK Cup 2025
During the 2025 LCK Cup, T1 made a surprise substitution by benching Gumayusi and replacing him with Smash – a marksman promoted from T1 Challengers. However, this substitution did not seem to bring anything positive.

The surrounding controversies are not enough, there is also the result of T1 when they only finished 6th in LCK Cup 2025, lost the chance to attend First Stand and information appeared that Smash dared to “turn on” Faker. But even more “disastrous” is the series of parameters of T1’s young star even though the whole team played around this player.

Specifically, despite possessing very high KDA and gold/minute stats, Smash’s damage conversion/minute or damage ratio (on opponents/on towers) is extremely low, creating a clear lack of difference. Even compared to a Marksman who is considered the weakest and has the most inconsistent performance at LCK Cup 2025, Deokdam, Smash’s damage conversion is also worse (129.3% compared to 150.3%).

T1 needs to stop collecting data before the Regular Seasons begin
On many forums, many T1 fans have expressed their disappointment when seeing the Smash stats. Not to mention superstar ADCs who have made their names such as Ruler, Viper or Aiming; even Jiwoo or Deokdam, Smash can lose to the basic ADC stats, which is very unacceptable.
T1’s 6th place finish in the 2025 LCK Cup may not be surprising, especially considering the players’ performance compared to their opponents. But if the 2024 Worlds champions continue to repeat this situation when the Regular Seasons begin, a similar outcome may be inevitable. Especially when the Regular Seasons are the only domestic tournament in 2025, which will keep teams focused to the maximum, leaving no room for mistakes.
